Verizon Connect Reveal Telematics Now Available on GSA Contract

Public agencies that have been running standalone bid processes to procure fleet telematics now have a cooperative purchasing path: Verizon Connect Reveal is available on the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule program.

The listing covers state, local and tribal government agencies, including public education and public higher education institutions. Eligible buyers get pre-negotiated pricing, terms and conditions, reduced lead time for obtaining services, and faster timelines for requests for proposal.

“Making Verizon Connect Reveal available on GSA contracts enables government agencies to benefit from cost savings, gains in efficiency and focusing on the safety of government workers and drivers in the field,” said Peter Mitchell, senior vice president and general manager of Verizon Connect.

Reveal is a fleet management software platform built around a single-interface approach for managing driver behavior, vehicle maintenance, vehicle location and driver compliance. The platform incorporates native mobile applications across its modules.

Mitchell also cited specific operational uses the platform addresses for public fleets. “Whether it’s more efficient routes, driver compliance or tracking maintenance, vehicle location or driver behavior, we are proud to offer these services and benefits to the U.S. government agencies that serve the American people every day,” he said.

Verizon Connect said the platform has received more than 15 industry awards in 2021 and 2022 to date, including a No. 1 ranking in innovation from ABI Research in its 2022 Commercial Telematics Vendors competitive ranking report. The awards recognized both Reveal and the company’s Integrated Video driver-facing dashcam.
