Monroe’s ServicePRO XP S-Series and S-Series Premier service bodies are now available in aluminum construction across three body lengths: 8 feet 8 inches, 9 feet 5 inches, and 11 feet 5 inches.
The aluminum variant targets fleets operating in corrosive environments where road salt, moisture and daily wear accelerate steel degradation. Monroe, a brand of the Aebi Schmidt Group, said the lighter construction is intended to increase payload capacity and improve fuel efficiency as operating costs rise.
Standard features on the aluminum S-Series and S-Series Premier carry over from the existing ServicePRO XP lineup: flush-mounted compartment doors, integrated compartment lighting, a spring-loaded ergonomic IML push-pull system, the StepMate bumper for safer access to tools and equipment and factory hitch compatibility on the 8-foot-8-inch bodies.
Additional configuration options include InfinityStrut solutions, dual side-pack partitions and electronic locking.
The aluminum bodies also offer more usable length than two unnamed competitors across all three size classes.

The announcement does not give pricing or chassis fitment; fleets speccing a replacement body will need that from Monroe or a dealer before writing a bid.
