Asset Panda, the Dallas-based asset management, inspection and audit software company, has added AI-powered help desk ticketing directly to its platform, letting fleet and facilities teams create, manage and resolve support requests without leaving the system where their asset records already live.

The new Help Desk Ticketing solution links individual tickets to assets, equipment, people and locations inside Asset Panda, giving technicians immediate visibility into an asset’s history when a request comes in. Tickets can originate inside the platform or arrive through a dedicated support email address, and two-way email communication is captured automatically in the ticket history along with attachments and responses. Tickets can also be linked to one or multiple assets, as well as people, locations and records across collections. Fields for severity, category, department, root cause, resolution type and custom statuses or stages are configurable, and technicians can leave internal notes invisible to external submitters.

The solution is backed by Ursa Help Desk Agent, an AI layer organizations can supply with company documentation, service-level agreement (SLA) terms and compliance policies. Ursa can draft response emails and follow-up requests for additional information, flag potential SLA violations, analyze customer sentiment to surface urgent or frustrated submitters, and generate custom dashboards from natural-language prompts. The agent can also surface key metrics and upset customers within the help desk without requiring users to prompt it. Organizations can also build custom Ursa skills for repeatable workflows and distribute them to help desk staff with a single click.

“Support requests are often directly tied to the assets an organization is already tracking, yet many teams still manage that information in separate systems,” said Rex Kurzius, Founder and CEO of Asset Panda. “Asset Panda Help Desk Ticketing brings those workflows together, giving technicians the context they need to resolve issues faster while building a more complete history for every asset. With Ursa Help Desk Agent, teams can also apply AI throughout the support process to help diagnose problems, surface important information and reduce the time it takes to resolve tickets.”

“When someone reports an issue with a piece of equipment, the technician shouldn’t have to hunt through another platform to understand what they’re working on,” Kurzius said. “Connecting the ticket directly to the asset gives teams better context from the start and helps simplify the entire support process. Ursa builds on that foundation by helping teams identify what needs attention and take action more efficiently.”

Because tickets are managed within Asset Panda, organizations can incorporate ticket data into dashboards and reporting alongside broader operational data. Asset Panda Help Desk Ticketing is designed for organizations managing physical assets across IT, facilities and maintenance, education, construction, healthcare, manufacturing and municipal fleet operations. Founded in 2012, Asset Panda is an asset tracking, inspection, audit and compliance platform.
