Fleet management software providers are adding role-based dashboard tools as operators struggle to route the right data to the right teams, and Chevin Fleet Solutions has now redesigned the central interface of its FleetWave platform to address that problem directly.
The new FleetWave Dashboard introduces multi-dashboard functionality, letting organizations build separate views organized by job role, operational function or business priority. Fleet, maintenance, compliance and management teams can each work from a tailored interface without cycling through multiple reporting tools.
Users can build and configure their own widgets from data already held inside FleetWave, setting up dashboards around specific key performance indicators rather than fixed reporting formats. New capabilities in the release include enhanced drill-down functionality, role-based access controls and dashboard sharing tools. A full-screen display mode is available for operational environments, and the platform runs across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
“FleetWave has long enabled customers to create custom dashboards, but this development builds on that experience to make information easier to access, configure and share across different teams,” said Richard Clark, Global Head of Product at Chevin Fleet Solutions.
“Fleet operators are generating more data than ever before, but the challenge is often ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time,” Clark added. “We believe the new dashboard helps address that challenge by allowing organisations to structure information around the way their teams actually work.”
FleetWave is used by organizations in more than 180 countries to manage more than 1 million vehicles and assets. The updated dashboard is available now within the platform.
