Fleetio, a Birmingham, Ala.-based fleet maintenance and optimization platform, has launched an integration with PartsTech that lets fleet shops search multiple parts suppliers and place orders without leaving Fleetio, with early users saving up to 15 minutes per purchase order.
Purchase order details sync automatically to Fleetio maintenance records, and ordered parts can be mapped to Fleetio inventory records, eliminating duplicate entry. Supplier search and draft purchase order creation run inside the platform, letting teams compare suppliers and keep purchasing data in a single record alongside costs and maintenance history.
PartsTech, an OEC company, connects repair facilities to more than 300 parts and tire suppliers across more than 30,000 supplier locations, providing live inventory and wholesale pricing in a single lookup.
Public sector fleets were the largest early-access customer segment for the integration, according to Fleetio. The company’s 2026 Benchmark Report found that 28.9% of more than 600 surveyed fleets identified parts sourcing as a top maintenance concern.
The City of Cambridge is among the early adopters. For that fleet, the time savings amount to approximately four hours each week on parts purchasing. “The PartsTech integration saves our team approximately 3-4 hours every week on parts purchasing alone,” said Tom Rowlings, Assistant Fleet Manager at the City of Cambridge. “That’s over 180 hours of administrative time recovered annually, and the efficiency gains have continued to grow as we’ve streamlined other parts and inventory processes. The visibility provided by PartsTech and Fleetio Automations has also given us the confidence to delegate purchasing responsibilities across our team.”
Fleetio also launched Motor Pool, a shared vehicle reservation management tool the company says gives organizations clearer insight into vehicle utilization for more informed planning.
