Pennsylvania’s Bureau of Vehicle Management has replaced its legacy fleet management system, awarding a statewide software contract to RTA: The Fleet Success Company of Glendale, Arizona, under Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Agreement contract #4400034153.
The platform selected is RTA Fleet360, a cloud-based fleet management information system (FMIS) built for public-sector operations. It covers asset management, technician scheduling, maintenance and repair workflows, parts, fuel and accident tracking. The contract was executed following an extensive RFI and search process.
James Fiore, Director of Vehicle Management for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, said the search centered on more than software. “We weren’t just looking for another software vendor, we were looking for a true partner,” Fiore said. “Our team needs more than just a tool. We need software, consulting, and hands-on expertise to help us best serve the taxpayers and continue growing and developing our people. Through that lens, RTA was the only FMIS provider that made sense. They’re the only one offering that full partnership approach.”
Under the agreement, Pennsylvania agencies gain access to Fleet360’s preventive maintenance and inspection tracking, custom forms and automated service workflows, asset in-servicing and disposal planning tools, centralized documentation across departments and embedded surveying tools for tracking internal customer feedback.
“This partnership is more than a software contract, it’s a commitment to helping Pennsylvania’s fleets succeed,” said Josh Turley, CEO of RTA. “By leveraging RTA Fleet360, the Commonwealth is putting tools in place that will help their fleet management team save time, maximize the availability of the assets that serve their communities, and be good stewards of taxpayer dollars.”
RTA plans to host complimentary half-day fleet management events for Pennsylvania fleet teams in Philadelphia on July 21 and in Pittsburgh on July 23.
