Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP)
A membership association for managers of heavy and off-road equipment fleets, including municipal and government ones. Issues the Certified Equipment Manager credential.
AEMP is oriented toward heavy equipment rather than light vehicles, which makes it the relevant body for the half of a public fleet measured in hours rather than miles.
For a public works or utility fleet running loaders, excavators and off-road equipment alongside its trucks, it covers ground a vehicle-focused association does not.
