John Deere doubled the warranty on eligible original-equipment service and repair parts from 12 months to 24 months or 4,000 machine hours, whichever comes first, effective Nov. 1, 2026, for purchases in the United States and Canada.
For eligible dealer-installed parts, the coverage includes both parts and eligible dealer labor during the first 12 months. Months 13 through 24 carry parts-only coverage. Parts installed by customers or other service providers receive parts-only coverage for the full 24-month or 4,000-hour period.
Parts purchased before Nov. 1, 2026, remain subject to the warranty terms in effect at the time of purchase. John Deere REMAN warranty terms are unchanged. Turf parts move to a 12-month warranty under the change, and ESSENTIALS by John Deere parts continue to carry a 12-month warranty. Full eligibility details and applicable terms and exclusions are available through an authorized John Deere dealer or the applicable John Deere parts warranty statement.
“Our customers expect equipment and parts they can depend on, along with the flexibility to make decisions that are right for their operations,” Denver Caldwell, vice president of aftermarket and customer support at John Deere, said in the announcement. “We’re continuing to invest across the aftermarket experience to deliver on that expectation, from strengthening our parts warranty to expanding parts choice and repair options, all backed by the support of our John Deere dealer network and focused on delivering greater value throughout the life of their equipment.”
The extended warranty covers John Deere OE parts alongside two other parts categories the company offers for different stages of equipment life: John Deere REMAN, which provides remanufactured components as an alternative to new parts, and ESSENTIALS by John Deere, which the company positions as a value-price option for equipment later in its lifecycle.
John Deere also offers parts and repair information through its Run It Your Way initiative, including the John Deere Operations Center, Equipment Mobile, Shop.Deere.com and Operations Center PRO Service, which the company says supports customers whether they work with a dealer, another service provider or perform repairs themselves.
