Bandit Industries Highlights Three Drum-Chipper Models for Tree Care Operations

Three drum chippers with 18 to 21 inches of rated capacity and engine options spanning 125 to 350 horsepower define Bandit Industries’ current hand-fed lineup for tree care fleets.

The Bandit Intimidator 18XP carries an 18-inch rated capacity with gas and diesel engines from 125 to 174 horsepower. Configurations can stay under 10,000 pounds, and the dual feed wheel system produces approximately 4,840 pounds of pulling power. An optional hydraulically controlled winch is available. The 19XPC shares the 18XP platform but adds a larger chain-driven top feed wheel and increased hydraulic motor displacement, pushing pulling power above 10,000 pounds; rated capacity is 19 inches and engine options run from 139 to 225 horsepower. The 21XP is the largest of the three, with a 21-inch rated capacity, a 26.25-inch by 24.5-inch throat opening, engines from 275 to 350 horsepower, approximately 10,529 pounds of pulling power, wider feed wheels and a 37-inch-diameter by 24-inch-wide four-knife drum. An optional Kesla loader is available on the 21XP for whole-tree processing work.

All three models share a four-knife drum, Slide Box Feed System, dual feed wheels, a standard hydraulic lift cylinder, 64-inch infeed hoppers and a five-year drum warranty.
